Hi! I don't think the inner case is particularly heavy...the vast majority of the weight comes from the Keyboard Case itself. However, depending on the model, it is possible to use the Keyboard Case without the inner case (ie with a naked iPad Pro). But this does not work with the 2024 M4 iPad Pro version...just the 2022 iPad Pro 11 version, as far as I know. Not sure about any other versions, as those are the only two Rebound 360 Keyboard Case versions I have tried. Hope this helps!

I really don't know...I'm a bad person to ask about long term use data, because I don't use my cases for long enough. I'm sorry to hear about the yellowing, though!! In general, lighter colors are going to be more at more risk for color change...

It's very strong in itself...but I think the strength is partially dependent on the magnet in the case or phone as well.

I think it is lighter weight than the CASETiFY MagSafe Impact Ring Stand. I don't have any exact figures for you, however. Just my impression... The Mod NX is a nice case...they made a lot of good changes to it this year. It's not going to be as grippy as the CASETiFY Impact Ring Stand case, however.

Really? So sorry to hear that. I don’t have any issues with the speaker quality…I wonder if you ended up with a defective unit? Or you just have more sensitive ears?

@@TheTechReviewer not sure to be honest. There’s a lot of complaints about the speakers on Reddit. Compared with my 2018 iPad Pro, the M4 speakers lacked treble and clarity compared to the 2018 iPad Pro. Going to wait to see if Apple addresses this issue.

Hi Reginald! I hear you on the function keys! Before you shell out the big bucks for the Logitech Combo Touch, you might want to consider ESR’s very reasonably priced Ascend keyboard case. It’s not as good (in my opinion) as the Rebound 360, but it is cheaper, lighter, and the 11 inch version has a function key row.

@@TheTechReviewer Thank you for the suggestion. I just got back from picking up the Logitech. I watched your review on the Ascend and really didn't like how it attaches. I also have a Surface Pro and I'm used to that type of keyboard, so I like the Logitech much better, which functions much like my Surface Pro. Keep up the good work!!

I got mine directly from ZAGG…no idea how long it will take to flush out all the old stock from the stores that have it, unfortunately….But I do think you are more likely to get the latest version of a product if you buy directly from the manufacturer.

You could…but I can’t imagine why you would want to. It’s a much better idea to just detach the magnetic inner case from the outer keyboard case and hold that in your hands. If you fold the keyboard around the back and try to hold it that way, you’ll be touching the keys. Not optimal.

Sorry for the delay in answering your question, Scott. I was away on vacation and couldn't try it out. So, with the Rebound Hybrid case, you can fold the folio cover to the back, and use the magnetic flap to hold it closed, but without that, it won't attach strongly to the back when folded back. There is a very small amount of magnetic attachment, but not enough to hold it in place. Keep in mind, however, that you can always just remove the inner case from the outer folio case and then you don't have to mess with the folio cover at all. I don’t have a way to do that, unfortunately. (Don’t have a proper scale for that, and I’m also away from home on vacation right now.) However, when holding the two inner cases in my hands, I had the feeling that they were pretty much equivalent in weight.

I think you should be ok. It’s pretty tough!! Certainly a short time in the rain should pose no problems…it’s a washable item, after all. Leaving it exposed to the elements for a long time might be an issue, though…not sure. You might want to ask RhinoShield on that.

Yes…the new iPads are pretty limiting in that area. The ESR Pencil Pro will work with the iPads, but you have to charge it separately…no cool wireless charging.

Hi Edson! Nice to hear from you! Yes, I think that the anti-reflective coating significantly improves the overall clarity of the screen protector and color depth and vividness. It looks noticeably better than the ESR Armorite screen protector I had on there before (and is way more expensive, of course!). It's a really nice product!

Hi Pearl! Great to hear from you...hope you are doing well. I will be reviewing accessories for either the 16 Pro or the 16 Pro Max this fall, but probably not both, as I just got the new iPad Pro. (Can't go too crazy!!). Choosing between the regular Pro and the Pro Max will be tough. What about you? Planning to upgrade?

They are, but the good news is these glass protectors usually last several years. It took me 6 ESR protectors to just get 1 that didn’t have defects or installed imperfectly.

Brent, I have to agree with @dccd3237. To an extent, you get what you pay for. I've used a lot of ZAGG screen protectors and I've never been disappointed. Never had a crack or break or anything. Of course, my usage is not typical. I'm very careful with my devices and I tend to change out my screen protectors more often than normal because of needing to review another product. But still: ZAGG screen protectors are great if you can afford the price. Easy install and great user experience. And it's nice to know that the limited lifetime replacement warranty is there if you need it. 😊

Hi @dojan! Tragically, neither the Ascend keyboard case or the Rebound 360 keyboard case will work with the inner case from the Shift. They are all mutually incompatible. I think the reason is that the design of the products requires the magnets to be in different configurations in order to meet the design specs of the cases. That's the only reason that makes any sense...I doubt ESR is doing this just to torture you!!

So sorry...that must be a newer accessory that was introduced after I reviewed this product. I don't know anything about it.

Hi @CASTET777! Totally get your point. The Magic Keyboard is a fantastic product...super lightweight, great magnets, no need to charge or pair. I love mine! But it is very expensive and perhaps a bit out of some people's budgets after they have paid the big bucks to get the iPad Pro M4. So I think the ESR Rebound 360 is an option to consider. Plus, you do get additional protection for your iPad Pro with the Rebound 360 due to the inner case, and you also get the option for a few different iPad orientations. Hi Mohamed! Thanks for sharing your Rebound 360 experience! I totally agree with you on the weight issue...it's bulkier and heavier than Apple's Magic Keyboard. As for using it without the inner case, that's not supported for the 2024 M4 11 inch Rebound 360 version (but it was for the 2022 11 inch version). Which iPad Pro version are you using? You are right that there are fewer viewing angle options with the Rebound 360 as opposed to the Magic Keyboard...the cantilever design doesn't work quite as well. I didn't notice any issues with the magnetic attachment for Apple Pencil Pro, however...I wonder if you got a defective unit? The same goes for the touchpad...mine seemed fine.
